Library Schedule
Every student visits the library weekly for a full class period of instruction in library skills and research. These lessons are based on the Kansas State Board of Education Curricular Standards for Library Media. Students have the opportunity to check out books during their assigned library time and before and after school. The schedule is as follows:

The William Allen White Book Award is promoted in the library and through classroom read-aloud's. Any student reading three or more nominees on the WAW reading list may sign the poster and vote for their favorite in April. Students who read all nominees and can answer basic content questions will receive a gift certificate to Hastings Books.
